One of the many silly “arguements” (sic!) listed in the previous article stuck with me: men are more desperate and supposedly stalk women more so than women do men. I do not recall ever stalking someone, but I do recall being stalked a few times (not killed or maimed, just a tad annoyed).
Take, for instance, OC, the latest. We’ve met at the documentary screening at the Romanian Consulate. She asked me for my phone number and afterward, she sent me a text message a day (on average) for the next few weeks or months until I met her. When we met, even though it had been her invitation, I offered to pay half the bill and she did not mind, so I did.
Though the last, she was definitely not the first – not even Ruslana was.
