I’ve hinted before on my personal struggle with answering such philosophical questions as “where are you from?” or “where were you born.” As I started answering with “Dacia,” more and more of those asking me, unsatisfied with this answer, started to look it up. One such acquaintance, a Brazilian dude, was kind enough to let me record our conversation. So I made a movie to share it more easily (like the Jens interview).

Never have I hesitated to make my views on Romanian immigration known. I think that most people leaving the country for good are better off living in Ro (though European tourism needs to expand, especially among college students, who also have Erasmus to take advantage of). That is why I’m conflicted about “Maria’s Manifesto”, a rather incongruent and emotional appeal to “patriotism”.

Cateodata  am chef sa ma uit la clipuri de muzica, dar nu orice. Cele mai tari, cele mai populare, cele mai vizionate si top of the charts nu ma reprezinta intotdeauna, nu-mi regasesc gusturile in ele. Iata de ce aceste 40-45 clipuri ma incanta – raman cu tine o vreme..

Cand vorbim despre popoare, exista in general 2 atitudini de baza. Prima, comuna din cate-am observat celor foarte tineri sau celor foarte in varsta, este nationalista si atribuie fiecarui popor trasaturi foarte clare si bine-definite rezultand intr-o ierarhie valorica. A doua, sustine prostia ca nu exista absolut nici o diferenta intre oameni sau popoare si ca suntem complet egali. Ca si mai devreme, cu fomeile, propun si alte modalitati, cat de cat stiintifice, de a-ti arunca ochiul asupra lumii.
