It's almost like a tradition here, on this blog, to dedicate at least an article every year to mornings. This time, it is mostly a retrospective and about breakfast.

A while back I had an overseas guest misbehaving. I had invited her for a longer stay in Canada but it turned out she had difficulties living without regular fights. I offered to make a reservation at a hostel and cover her costs at a hostel for the rest of her stay but she refused and I was eventually bribed to give in due to my membership affiliation.

N-am fost intrebat des unde-am fost de 9/11, si nici eu nu m-am grabit s-o spun. Si-asta pentru c-ar fi urmat replica "tzeara arde si..." whatevah. Nu c-ar fi fost prima data, si nu pentru ca imi pasa sau nu-mi pasa mai mult decat altora, dar cele mai mari dezastre din viata mea s-au cam intamplat fara mine. Deocamdata, 9/11, eventual in seria "calatorii sprancenate".

Cateodata imi vine sa ma fac futograf. De pilda, atunci cand asist la o sesiune de fotografie in nudul gol. Ce urmeaza este undeva la granita – in zona artei, zic eu. Dar acei care considera plaja un loc de pierzanie se vor simti ofensati, so reader discretion is strongly advised.

Concertul de Craciun si Nightlosers redivivus..

Having recently come back from a trip to Calgary, a friend of mine was showing me beautiful photos of a snowy mountain, with real pine forests covered by snow, which all conjured up in my mind the image of the ski camp where I used to spend all of my winter holiday, and more, all throughout my school years in Romania.

Ieri am avut o zi oarecum complexa. Si m-am gandit s-o impartasex cu populatia cititoare.

Citeam recent pe blogul lui Otto (Antimiorita din BlogRoll) o recomandare de carte (1). Desigur, vine vara, stai pe plaja si citesti in timp ce te umpli de melanoma, dar totusi recomandarea lui are probleme. Si eu le demasc, sa stii in ce te bagi, si sa nu te pacalesti cumparand-o. Nu ma-ntelege gresit: merita cumparata, dar daca te-astepti sa dai de porn, te pacalesti :)

Anumite discutii din ultima vreme, vremea de rahat de-afara, certuri cu un prieten, si-alte alea m-au cufundat intr-o stare cam proasta. Dac-as fi pictor, s-ar chema "perioada albastra".
