I struggle to write about my grandma’s passing away, between expressing all I have to say, and staying within the limits of what a reader might find interesting or useful, without falling into too much drama.

It's a sad day for Ioan Pop, his family, and Romanian Christian Orthodoxy in general, but on the bright side, the abused women are finally getting some closure and Ioan Pop won’t have a chance to repeat his weird brand of sexual religiosity. As usual, I am not content with only reporting on the news; I have a few other things to say.

Some recent Romanian news led me to consider the possibility that many Romanian men suffer from an undiagnosed affliction: Uterus envy. Let us together discover what that means, and how this was already named “womb envy” by a psychoanalyst named HORNEY.

Finland, the country who is light years ahead of Romania in education, is moving away from structured learning and a Romanian Senator opines that it's BS, which, in our view, makes him a 'zambaccian' or a person who is incapable to understand his mistakes, nevermind assume them, a person whose mindset prevents them from accepting new, revolutionary ideas.

There are two subjects that seem to dominate the Romanian public sphere (I would say blogo.ro-oaie, but that's defunct): the religion choice in schools and the New York Times Op-Ed on corruption in Romania. I’m very tempted to make a nice hot stew out of both, but I’ll try to keep each to its own article.

It has recently come to my attention that today is St Andrew's day and also Scotland National Day. Tomorrow is Romania's. Or, since it’s unlikely I’ll finish this article and publish it today, subtract one day from all the temporal adverbs above. We will also learn here who put the ‘X’ in XXX.

My reservations notwithstanding, I suspect most of the people who voted for Iohannis do not really know who he is, apart from the fact that he is not Ponta. I'm trying to bring a bit more color and background to his wooden personality.

I hesitated for one day before writing this article and telling you this story. Maybe that's cuz here in Canada we went back to regular time, "losing" one hour.

After writing about the sexual assault complaint about Ioan Pop on September 13, I was even considering going to the October 15 court appearance. It turns out that a court appearance has already taken place before I had a chance to wake up (and I’m still on antibiotics).

Ioan Pop, the priest with the All Saints Romanian Orthodox Church was just charged with sexual assault at church. Apparently, a woman barely escaped only after a couple walked in on what was going on.

Acum mai bine de 2 ani, scriam despre cutremurul din l’Aquila, Italia. Acum cateva zile, scriam in pistolul cu pasarica despre cutremurul ce va sa vie in Vancouver. Ei bine, italienii au decis sa aduca in instanta 6 seismologi care au spus cu putin timp inainte de cutremur ca nu exista suficiente dovezi pentru a concluziona ca un cutremur este iminent si aflu despre asta din articolul unei vancou(ve)verite care mai si repeta ce ziceam cu V.

Sunt in chinurile facerii mai multor articole lungi si nici nu am timp, asa ca pana incepe cuptorul uterin sa beep-aie - adica pana le zamislesc - ce-ar fi sa ne uitam la Indexul Democratiei si ce ne dezvaluie despre Romania si-alte tari?

Am primit acum cateva zile un raspuns de la un prof de fizica (Iosif Sever Georgescu) ce apare intr-unul din articolele mele mai vechi, publicat initial de Cracanel. O fi el sau o fi fi-s'u?

Dupa ce-am dezbarligat nitel promovarea turismului romanesc, ne oprim asupra unor scandaluri mai recente si poate mai reale. Este vorba despre moneda cu patriarhul antisemit si, poate intr-un articol viitor, atacul lui Sarko impotriva romilor.

O stire de la Crestin Ortodox . ro ma indeamna cu strasnicie si cuvioasa curiozitate sa vaz ce se mai intampla si pe saitul lor, intru propovaduirea dreptei credinte catre intreaga suflare a neamului.

Citeam la @arhi nu demult o discutie pe tema pedofiliei. Si cum mi se-ntampla tot mai des in ultima vreme, desi discutia era pe cat de rationala poate fi o astfel de discutie ce contine implicit multe emotii, am fost infuriat de cateva prostii ridicate la rangul de "statistici".

Am constatat ca-n ultima vreme nu prea mai am timp sa citesc bloguri. Aproape toate stirile de care aflu le culeg din twitter si cam tot acolo reactionez la ele. Scrisul pe blog necesita un oarecare efort de vointa.

N-am multe de zis sau aratat acum, c-am facut asta in anii precedenti. Am in schimb o poza cu.. cantec.

Desi am lasat-o sa se intrevada in alte articole cat si in comentarii pe alte bloguri, n-am discutat niciodata opinia mea despre homosexualitate si-n principal despre dreptul homosexualilor de a se casatori si de a adopta copii.

Perceptia mea despre acest cult este formata in cea mai mare parte de realitatea canadiana. Cum cea romaneasca este probabil diferita, o trecem in revi-blog.
