Fernandez-Ansola, who said inflation remains a problem in the new European Union member, said the central bank would need support from fiscal policies to fight price rises: "From a legal point of view, the bank is responsible for containing prices at low levels ... but if it will be left (to do this job) alone ... this can turn into a difficult problem for the country given that half of what happens in the Romanian economy is controlled through fiscal policies."O problema rezultand direct din politicile inflationare ale guvernului, este scaderea cresterii economice; asta s-ar intampla si fara market crash-ul pornit din USA.
- China pays great attention to Romania's trade deficit with China, and is willing to take measures to promote a trade balance.
- expressed the hope that both sides will manage to deepen cooperation in education, sports, tourism and labor services.
- China will further strengthen exchanges of high-level visits between national leaders, governments, parliaments and political parties of the two sides.
- vowed to seek substantive progress in three major cooperation projects between China and Romania: a nationwide CDMA (Code-Division Multiple Access) communications network in Romania, a bridge on the Danube River and a ring road in Bucharest.
- praised Romania's adherence to the one-China policy.
