Quickly, I just learned about a new Romanian Immigrant who had won the Visa Lottery..

One contest I thought about is superscrieri (superwritings). That got me thinking of other contests, such as fiction in Canada or the US Visa Lottery.

Hotnews has previously interviewed Romanian diaspora people, which we covered, and we have also been profiling others in the diaspora ourselves. This interview is somewhat new in that the interviewee is "returned" - and we expect to be many more like him in the coming years.

The stuff I haven't told you yet about Anaughtia (see previous and still unfinished, at this time, article) is on my mind, fighting its way into a sequel. But it will be a while. There are other stories for other blogs that also searching for a way out of my head. Until then, a somewhat easier subject, on Sweden.

It required serious formatting, but I thought it’s a free service I can provide to the second highest commenter (in terms of quantity) on this blog. Ever since I have decided to focus on English language blogs, I find every now and then news about Romania that beg to be commented. I never have enough time to do so, but today, as I read about the chewing gum thieves, I shall make an exception.
