I just learned about two Romanian-Canadian people, mother and daughter Ana Constantin and Lisa Maria Paun being banned for life by Air Canada and left stranded without proper notice. This is not discrimination, just incredibly poor customer service and it’s an issue almost all of us have to deal with every time we fly.

Ever since I have decided to focus on English language blogs, I find every now and then news about Romania that beg to be commented. I never have enough time to do so, but today, as I read about the chewing gum thieves, I shall make an exception.

Asta ar fi o palma grea pe obrazul nostru, daca ne-a mai ramas obraz sub grosul strat de sorici.

Blogul Trilema are probabil cea mai rapida ascensiune a vreunui blog din blogo.ro-oaie. Fiecare miscare, fiecare articol, par a fi parte dintr-o strategie bine gandita. Dintre toate blogurile pe care le-am citit, este unicul cu sanse de a-l ajunge pe blog daddy’o, si asta fara a se folosi de tertipuri scarbavnice.

Cateva stiri despre ce se mai intampla p-aici si nu numai. Sunt multe si-mbarligate, si-s cam toate din presa streina. Se da si bere!

Pescuiam mai deunazi prin cele peste 100 de articole din Drafts, si-am gasit unul care merita publicat, inainte sa putrezeasca. Titlul original spune ca sa comunicam, trebuie sa ascultam.

I have recently read an opinion by some “journo” in a tabloid on how anonymous SIM cards should be sold no more (i.e., make them available only to those producing ID). I argue that the writing privileges of this person should be suspended.
