Fiind vara, m-am gandit sa fac o supa / ciorba / bors rece. Stiu de fapt o singura reteta, invatata in timpul unei calatorii in Lituania. Am gatit lichidul cu o lituanianca (la ea acasa), o estonoasa si-un elvetzoi. A fost un fel de double date.

There was a time when I considered myself vegetarian. It was easy, a very close friend was cooking while I was buying our food. These days I cook my own food and since my time is limited, I gravitate toward simple recipes. With that in mind, there's been a long time since I haven't presented a recipe here, so I'll be telling you about my favorite winter soup (which is more like a borsht), the lentil soup. And since it’s been a while since I wrote in Romanian, I’ll do it again, but you can find the English version below, in Sources.

"Little birds" is the English mot-a-mot translation of bijboace, clampacioace, fofoloance. Just the other day, a Latvian friend visited me and brought me as a gift some candy from her native country. And as she explained laughing and blushing, the candy name had a dual meaning.

Am inceput cu ciupercile si-a cam sosit mementul sa termin cu urzicile (nu-i vorba de almanahe, ci de succesuri bio-culinare). Adica sa-ti spun cum le-am venit de hac.

Nu cu mult timp in urma, mi-a venit stralucita idee de a renunta la comentariile native Blogger Blogspot si a instala comentariile IntenseDebate. Si-apoi, nemultmumit de performanta, le-am scos si le-am pierdut pe toate. Desi am decis ca voi pastra articolele tehnice pentru alt blog, voi publica o parte aici, dat fiind ca este vorba de sistemul de comentarii despre acest blog si nu altul.
