After repeating what’s (still) irking me about #corruption and the way it’s tackled and perceived, I get to summarize the events of the past few days (since Executive Order / Ordinance 13) and provide you with my much unwanted and unneeded opinion.

Whenever I talk to Romanians who want to come to Canada and I answer questions, I always end up being a bit upset. I find that people ask me too many simple questions they could answer themselves with Google and too few of the “important” questions. Maybe there’s a guru hiding inside of me, and here’s where I set him free.

My head has been getting bigger and bigger from all these stillborn brainchildren, so I thought I write a few down. Besides, it looks like Google has been dropping some of my articles off its index, and that hurts.

I have in the past voted for the (former) President Basescu and even raised to his defence (more or less) when he was accused of slapping an impertinent child. Yet his latest display of inconsistency is more than I can bear.

I have an almost Pavlovian reflex when it comes to inconsistent or illogical patterns. I've built-in expectation for things to turn out as they should, and when they don't, as it is often the case in life, alarm bells sound.

It's almost like a tradition here, on this blog, to dedicate at least an article every year to mornings. This time, it is mostly a retrospective and about breakfast.

I sporadically come across Dan Alexe's writings. He's a smart dude, he's courageous, and he seems to constantly be bullying "protocronists / dacologists" whom he calls "dacopaths" ("dacopati" cf Romanian original, a term most likely inspired by the derisive and pejorative “psychopaths”). I thought I deconstruct / smite him a bit.

This is an article I started a while back as the continuation of another, but abandoned before completion. The article no longer reflected my feelings, it seemed exaggerated and somewhat hysterical. I rediscovered it recently, as I needed a reference buried in it.

"O femeie" ridica niste probleme foarte interesante ca raspuns in articolul precedent din serie, motiv pentru care ma vad nevoit sa le raspund. Si cum raspunsul meu este cel putin la fel de lung pe cat comentariul dumneaei, il pun intr-un articol.

Am vrut sa testez aplicatia de puoze-colaj a unui concitadin – Vince Cheung. Am pus poze din Bucurestiul vechi, poze de la liceul si scoala mea generala, poze din Drumul Taberei..

N-am avut ce face si-am intrat pe site-ul lui arhi intr-o “discutie” la care am raspuns deja in articolul precedent. Cum era probabil de asteptat, discutia a ajuns iar la argumente pro si contra homosexualitatii. Acest articol este in linii mari un experiment - merita sa faci "gugal risarci" pentru altii? Vor reusi sa parcurga informatia?

Vuiet mare-n blogo.ro-oaie ca gubiernul plateste, zice-se, 500000 de euroi pentru un site. Este o prostie gubernamentala, sau o dovada a senzationalismului blogosferic? Si e senzationalismul ceva strict blogosferic, sau se-ntampla si-n presa de pe copaci morti?

Mai demult, cand abia scrisesem articolul cu moartea soricelului, cineva m-a acuzat ca n-am suflet ceea ce, chipurile, n-ar fi cool. Si s-a iscat o conversatie.

Imboldit de intoarcerea acasa si poate si de dezbaterea prezidentiabililor, zizzou imi raspunde cu a doua salva la dezbaterea Parlamentului unicameral. Eu imi ling ranile, ma regrupez, si-ncep a grai.

Ca parte din diaspora si totusi interesat de ce ce intampla in tara, "online"-ul ocupa o pondere mult mai mare in sursele mele de informatie despre Romania - este, de fapt, aproape singura.
