Am inteles ca recent Boc a facut niste rocade in guvern. Tot recent, TV Ontario a avut o masa rotunda cu Skype in mijloc cu mai multi fosti membri de guvern, atat provincial cat si federal.

Vedetele sunt oameni cu un ego fragil care au nevoie sa fie permanent in vazul multimii. Vrem sa credem ca politicienii sunt lideri plini de incredere in sine si ca nu necesita la fel de multa atentie ca actritele sau super-modelele anorexice si cocainate.

Nu sunt monarhist / regalist / restaurationist. Totusi, zau daca nu-mi vine sa exploatez drama regelui Mihai intr-o piesa de teatru, ca prea-i de tot haiu’.

Am mai discutat diferenta intre o polemica si o dezbatere. Cred ca totusi nu a fost inregistrata de mai nimeni, motiv pentru care voi abera nitel pe aceasta tema.

A while back, we looked at a map that placed Romania South of Bulgaria, and Bulgaria in Romania’s place, in a kind of “castling” or “rocada” (cf Romanian) of the two countries. A relatively newer map, picked up somewhere on Facebook (fb below in Sources), makes the same “mistake”. Are the quotes around the word mistake warranted?

Those of us who haven’t forgotten the recent elections (and this includes some of those happy with the results as well as those who predicted a PSD win, were proven wrong and keep looking for a reason to save their reputation) are still somewhat surprised. If you follow Romanian news, you mustn’t have missed how Victor Ponta, the current Romanian prime-minister, leader of the most popular (and also crypto-communist) PSD party and the most likely winner of the upcoming presidential race, launched his candidacy, on his birthday, on a stadium.
