Although I already said I’m not voting, due to atrocious bureaucratic hurdles at a time when it was supposed to be as easy to vote as possible in the most expensive election so far, I’m having second thoughts. Voting is an opportunity to give some unknown hopeful a chance, so I will have a quick look at the lesser known candidates who are worthy of a second look (apart from frontrunners).

The elections for the European Parliament are coming up soon, and this time around, I decided to ask all candidates a few questions and post their answers. But before sending these questions, it makes sense to look at the details, the first and most important being that the voting day is May 26 between 7:00 and 21:00, local time (EST) and there’s not voting by correspondence.

Cei doi proaspeti alesi reprezinta practic poluri opuse in preferintele blogosferei. In timp ce Iulian Urban este, probabil, printre cei mai contestati senatori, Varujan Pambuccian ramane cel mai sprijinit parlamentar de catre bloggeri si nu numai. Ambii au castigat in circumscriptiile respective.

Rezultatele sunt sau ar trebui sa fie binecunoscute deja: PDL a fost pedepsit de cei suparati ca le-au fost taiate salariile si pensiile, iar USL a fost rasplatit fiindca le-au marit in ciuda lipsei banilor si-n ciuda faptului ca salariile si pensiile n-au legatura cu reprezentantii locali si politica locala.

Ca dupa fiecare alegere unde miza-i mare, oamenii interesati in rezultat si rezultatul strans, au aparut si vor apare acuzatii de fraudare. Eu nu cunosc exemple concrete, dar aud tot timpul de oameni care cunosc alti oameni care sunt siguri ca fraudarea s-a produs. Si-ncerc sa analizez broblemu'.

The title means “Romanians vote anticorruption”, but then I realized that Romanians know what happened, it’s foreigners who might be more interested in what I have to say about it. Those of us who haven’t forgotten the recent elections (and this includes some of those happy with the results as well as those who predicted a PSD win, were proven wrong and keep looking for a reason to save their reputation) are still somewhat surprised. Un articol precedent despre emo s-a bucurat de un succes neasteptat. Aici este partea a doua, cu o stire noua si oarecum simbolica, si un film facut de un cuplu emo. Filmul merita vazut.
